Without any disrespect... I always thought she was the fragile type and don't find her passing surprising (again, no disrepsect). When I first heard of her way way back in the day, there were always articles about her mother traveling with her who would be advising her. I got the impression that although she had a tremendous talent that there was something a little "off" with her. These obviously came true when she hooked up with Bobby Brown. I'm surprised there was some sort of Intervention done earlier. Then when she finally broke free she just didn't have it anymore. Besides, what manager wants to handle someone who could cancel out at a moments notice.
Regardless of the fact... She had a incredible, one of a kind and it's sad to see it silenced.
Yeah...sadly she did not have the strength of Tina Turner...who managed to escape the brutality of Ike and climb back to success again. Whitney, sadly, was not able to rise from the ashes of bobbys brutality.
MORNING WOOD Lumber Company
Guinness for Strength!!!
When I first hear Miss Houston, I thought she was bound for a career in R&B that the likes of have never seen before. Alas the bright lights bring the moths to the flame. Rest in peace. Too many of these stories in music. Way too many.
