anybody know if this firewall/router will work wiyh WinPoet. I want to put something on my home net to share and protect [Watched too many cop shows]

No. The DI-701 does not work with PPPoE. http://www.dlink.ca/enter.html

I use DI-701 on my network & it works great.
Just update the firmware.
