linksys Router and Sprint DSL Problem

i am angry. my IP changes about 2-6 times per day. My Linksys router does not reconnect is there anything that i can do.. Download lost of stuff and i always haveing to shuttown the router and power up to get connect.... Any INFO WOULD BE GREAT

sprint is pppoe if i'm not mistaken, so be sure to enable it, username-password, and enable connect on demand. set the router wan ip to dynamic, be sure to enter dns info [in router as well as machine]. also if not running 1.30 firmware, try running that [be sure to write all you settings down before installing, as the firmware sets your router back to factory settings!]. another thing to try before going into firmware upg, is to go to status page and see if you can reconnect there. you also might consider removing the logon sw that those ppl from sprint put on your machine. hope this helps
