I just don't get women...

How come when I'm ready to get up and go somewhere and I say "I'm ready" it pretty much means my hands on the door knob and I'm ready to step outside. When my wife says "I'm ready" it only means that the basic heavy work is done. She still needs to find her purse, cell phone and take the trash out? All during the time I thought she was "ready", I'm out in the car with the motor running... waiting.

I don't really have this problem much... I say well in advanced what time I want to leave usually a day or so ahead as I like to plan good.

On the flip side I have buddies that are horrible at being late, never time anything and are worse than any woman I've ever seen for reasons I've yet to figure out.

I always tell them to be ready on time, i give them a time 1/2 hour early. works every time!
