I'd hate to say this about anyone, but I'm glad the bastard is dead.

The bits and pieces that I'm seeing and reading right now indicate it was a CIA operation that took him out near a mansion in Islamabad and that the White House has known about this since this morning. Probably have spent the day verifying the identity.

Known about some movement since August and decided to give action last week... did the attack this morning at a location 150miles north of Islamabad... Small US team went in and shot him in the head...took the body and that was that!

There are about 300 people and growing out side the White House chanting and celebrating lol

I couldn't be happier. Too bad he got to live as long as he did. I'd love to shake the hand of the guy who killed him.

"Well done" to our forces out there, this task now complete, there is much more of a sense of accomplishment for those that served over there during the past 10 years on this mission. "Thanks for serving!"

Surprised not to see a confirmation video. The circulating photo could easily have been altered.

Indeed...a bit disturbing that they "say" that we buried him at sea already. Granted the rush was done to honor the Muslim belief of performing a burial within 24 hours of death, but it does raise an eyebrow...

The sons of Saddam Hussein did not receive such expediency nor privacy. Like the aforementioned Hitler, without public proof, we will have rumor concerning his true demise.

At this point, Obama is trying to prove to the Muslim world that we are not the blood thirsy savages that Bin Deaden has made us out to be. There's also concern that Pakistanie government or millitary officials may have been involved in helping to hide him that need to be investigated as well.

Wonder if people will see this one....I wonder how many people remember that saddam was killed twice first by bombing and then a few years later he was captured in a hole and hanged...happened a few years apart but it was on the MSM...Benazir Bhutto mentioned in an tv interview that bin laden was already dead shortly there after she was assassinated which was interesting..that was a few years ago..short memories it seems...ahh fun times..time for the popcorn. this show is going to be entertaining..
