Adobe Reader X. I've actually been using that more than Foxit..which was my old standby for years. Foxit has caught the bloat bug in the past few versions, plus too much "me too" ware in it now.
SourceForce PDFCreator too for a print to pdf.

I still prefer Foxit, ya gotta really pay attention during the install that's for sure. But it seems to not want to take over the system resources much like Adobe still is.

I may stop using foxit reader out of protest... the new 5 version is out and the pc of crap MADE me install the toolbar in order to install the program!!! No opting out what so ever!! So after installing the reader I went into add/remove and took the toolbar off but this is just stupid!! I should be able to opt out of this junk if I don't wish to use it!!

Theres no reason to upgrade, its a bloat version stick with older ones.

PDF exploits are huge huge HUGE right now, more widespread than ever. Along with other non-OS avenues such as Java, Flash, etc. Tis important to keep those 3rd party apps updated.
I used to love Foxit..but it's gotten buggy, and Adobe Reader X is actually wicked lightening quick and its browser plugins work very well (unlike some prior versions like 9 'n 8) ...I'm back to that.

You can't read them as far as I know.. but when I need to create a .PDF, I use Libre Office to save the document that I made into a .PDF file. Works really well.

Going to have to really agree here.. you can't afford to run outdated stuff such as this, and yes Java exploits seem to be the target of many infections that I've removed here lately. I'm prob going back to adobe myself very soon.
