My install keeps erroring out at 97%, the only hint it gives me is “critical error: music”.
Sliding down the banister of life ..........................

I imagine you've already do this, but have you looked for any smudges or scratches on the CD? Also if you have one of those CD/DVD drive cleaning disks with the little brushes on them you might want to give that a try.
I don't know the same things you don't know. :confused:
