help can;t tweak MTU

i had a few days ago tweaked my mtu from 1492 to 1500
and now this is what the site gives.

this is what i got and my system gives that i have overall 1500 mtu
but the site gives 40 mtu
so i don't know the site or my computer is right. and i am still lagging.
plz can someone help me to make my mtu right?

If you are using a DSL connection make sure the MTU of your modem/router is set to 1492. If you are using a cable connection set it to 1500. Open TCP Optimizer click the "Optimal" setting at the bottom and reboot. Run TCP analyzer again and post results.

i did optimal settings but.
it still gives low mtu

In the first post you say you tweaked your MTU from 1492 to 1500. How did you do it? Was it through the modem? Are you using any other programs that could have changed your internet settings?

What type of connection do you have? Is it DSL, Cable, etc? What is the name of the internet provider?

what i did was: tweaking first the mtu with the tweaker from this site.
when i still lagged i did it manualy with the cmd on windows.
maybe the other programs that could changed my internet settings are:
advanced system care, and the tcp optimers from this site.
my connection is: cable and my provider is KPN (from holland / the Netherlands)
i hope this is enough.

Leave the MTU blank in TCP Optimizer. Just click only the optimal button. Then, apply and reboot.

I did it with winsockfix 2.
and run the batch but still not works!!!
is there are program that could block changing my settings?

For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
