Yup...snow plows going up 'n down the streets. Not heavy, but more than a dusting. Just unusual to have it this early in November, heck this past weekend was pretty decent, especially Saturday.

School delayed 90 minutes for the kiddos.

Supposedly storm "Thomas" that was quite a bit offshore but heading north came inland a bit, and the weathermen are calling it a nor'easter.

The east 1/2 of CT got it more than other areas.

Crazy, we were suppose to have leaves picked up this week, glad we got most of them finished that have come down so far.

Had to do a double take when I woke up and looked outside.

I only have about 40% of the yard raked. Can't rake for too long of a period of time, else my back gets really bad. Next year....will have to shop for some sort of super yard vac. Maybe I can get a sidecar for the Harley and modify it somehow with a giant shop vac driven off the belt drive! :D

Here is what the Wooly Worm predicts...
The Wooly Worm is thought to have predictive powers, and can forecast the winter outlook. This is purely a mix of fun and folklore. Even the groundhog has a better record of accuracy.

Five-year-old Cole Peurifoy of Concord, NC, was proud of his woolly worm, Jack, who captured first place in races at the 33rd Annual Woolly Worm Festival in Banner Elk, NC.

Thousands head to Banner Elk, NC to watch wooly worms race to be the official forecaster.

Based on the width and order of the caterpillar's black and brown stripes, "Jack's" forecast for the coming winter (starting with the winter solstice on December 21) says there will be cold and snowy through the holidays and on into late January.

There will be a bit of a warming trend in the last week of January and first week of February with a chance for ice. February will continue cold, becoming extremely cold in March. The weeks leading to the spring equinox on March 20 will see the winter close with lots of snow.

It’s a trip y’all are getting snow and it’s still getting in the low 80’s here during the day. It’s finally getting cold here at night.
