I am trying to bait this person to find out his scam. So, I contacted this guy with an email address and I got this following email. Then he/she attached a file that says her photo but I didn't open it. I don't have a test machine to play with it to find out what is in it. Probably a key logging program to get the passwords. OK here it is, read on and have fun.

It may be like those Nigerian Bank scam. Look at the message talking about her father's connection with head of the state. That is the read flag. Also why a girl in a refugee camp visiting this Speedguide.net talking about something beyond her means. I am going to continue mess with this guy until I find out what he is up to. Stay tuned. I will post the progress. I hope he is not reading this thread.

I don't have any relatives now whom i can go to as all my relatives ran away in the middle of the war.
The only person i have now is Rev. Isaac Ambrose who is the pastor of the ( Living Water christian church) here in the camp, he has been very nice to me since i came here but i am not living with him rather i live in the females hostel because the camp has two hostels one for men the other for women.
The Pastor's Tel number is ( +221 77 6804 239 ) if you call, please tell him that you want to speak with me so that he will send for me in the hostel. Call 12 noon GMT, i will be in the Reverend's office by that time tomorrow please,
As a refugee here i don't have any right or privileged to any thing be it money or whatever because it is against the law of this country. I want to go back to my studies because i only attended my first year before the tragic incident that lead to the death of my parents took place.
Please listen to this, i have my late father's statement of account and death certificate here with me which i will send to you later because when he was alive he deposited some amount of money in a leading bank in Europe which he used my name as the next of kin, the amount in question is $6.5M (six Million five Hundred Thousand Dollars). So i will like you to help me transfer this money to your account and from it you can send some money for me to get my traveling documents and air ticket to come over to meet with you.
I kept this secret to people in the camp here the only person that knows about it is the Reverend because he is like a father to me.
So in the light of above i will like you to keep it to yourself and don't tell it to anyone for i am afraid of loosing my life and the money if people gets to know about it. Remember i am giving you all this information due-to the trust i deposed on you, I like honest and understanding people, truthful and hardworking. My favorite language is English. Meanwhile i will like you to call me like i said i have a lot to tell you. Call me 12 noon my time tomorrow, i will be in the Reverend's office that time.

I banned her/him/it the other day. It does seem to be a new breed of spam/con game. They get quite crafty with their schemes and methods...
Don't get into trouble, but do keep us informed if you pursue it!
As far as suggestions, not sure as even if you just call, it may be on of those old Bahamas phone scams where you are transfered with out knowing, to a number that charges an incredible amount per minute... Google "Bahamas phone scam" or similar...

I created a new email address in hotmail and just messing with this guy to see how far it goes. I know this kind of scam since early 1990s and have a different kind of scam experience while I was an undergraduate student.
This is the first time I ever got a scam PM from this site, so just for fun now. We may learn something new twist from this. I want to see how intelligent this guy is to bounce me back and forth. I will not cross the line and will stop it if it comes beyond my moral integrity.
