Error code readers

Post by Far-N-Wide »

Any one recommend a good one? I'm getting tired of paying 100.00 a pop for a test, when I take my car in for repairs.

I know Auto Zone will pull codes for free.

You can actually buy a USB to OBD2 cable that would allow you to hook up your laptop and read them that way...

You'd need a driver for the cable, and some type of software depending on the make/model, however there are some shareware and freeware applications that work. May want to look into it, just an idea.
