Sync problems watching videos online?

Post by GypsyFool »

I am having this problem on both Firefox, and Internet explorer.

Windows XP Home 512 mb ram.

Every video I watch on sites like youtube are out of sync.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled flash. The latest version
I've cleared cookies and restarted browsers.
I've done spyware and adware scans
I've flushed dns

Yet the problem still persists.Any ideas?

I haven't installed all of windows updates, though I don't know how that would fix anything.

I haven't touched the hardawre acceleration at all.It is still at full and the enable write combining checked.

Any ideas here?

I could understand it being the video sometimes, but since it is nearly everyone, it has to be on my end.

Could you tell us a little more about your internet connection and computer? Not that it has anything to do with the answer to this post but I would definately go with at least 1gig of ram if not 2.

I don't have more, because I don't need more. I just use this computer for every day browsing, no dl or game playing or anything like that.

As I said the connection is 3520/768

This computer is connected via ethernet.

It is a shared connection.Using Embarq Zyxel 660HW.Though right now, the other computer is on, it isn't doing any web surfing.
