Some decent stuff there. Credit card bill of rights is worthy even though I only have one lol. Requiring insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions is also the right thing to do. He also fully funded the VA and to got more mental health pros in there. Also, allowing more controlled burns to help curb damaging wildfires was a huge win for fire protection.

JawZ delivers.

I guess if a president doesn't strictly pander to big business he is failing.

Thanks for the help. Although I don't agree with the pre-existing condition stuff. Thanks for the others.

The problem is that the healthy people always wind up paying for everyone else.

There are basically 3 types of people. Healthy people, healthy people who get sick, and people who live a reckless lifestyle who get sick because of their own actions. So who pays and how much? What incentive is there to stay healthy? Regardless of one's ability to pay, as long as they are part of the "pool", the burden is still shared by all.

and really...what is the definition of pre-existing? IF you really think about it...who does it benefit?

It would be a lot easier to talk on the phone about crap like this lol. I hate typing. :D

Wow... just wow. I guess FDR was a lousy American. Who cares if he led this country in the time of one of America's greatest crisis. That's completely irrelevant because he was a Dem. Never mind any other Dem who did something great for their country.

I think the more important question is did Far N Wide really make a statement suggesting that all Dems don't work and aren't proud of their country?

I dont see where he implicated anyone other than ALL dems. He mentioned Dems in general and than stated that they don't do any of those other things.

Well he's destroyed every democrats chances of being elected in November. That should count for something. He's awaken a lot of sleeping folks as to what is happening to this country while they slept.

If the topic is simply about what he has done well than as JawZ pointed out he has a pretty good list of things he has accomplished. Obviously, we all have differing viewpoints on whether those are good or not. I've personally been disappointed with a few things regarding his presidency so far. Ultimately, my decision to support him in 2012 will be contigent upon what he does here on out and who the Republicans nominate as their Presidential candidate. It's important that they nominate a strong candidate who is a much better option then what McCain 2008 was.

I'm disappointed Roody. By now, I thought for sure you'd of figured out that it doesn't matter who's in office. It only matters who controls that person that is in that office.

Campaign finance reform is something frankly we all as U.S. citizens IMO should want as a high priority. That used to be a big thing with McCain and I applauded him for it, but the focus on it has gone away.

We need to put a major leash on the Federal Reserve Bank, hold them accountable and auditable. A lot of the problems could be stopped right there.

Sorry, getting off topic.

It was already answered. When my daughter was 3, she used to ask the same questions over and over. Now that she's 8...I only have to give her the answer once.

So being that the question was asked and answered, we are only left with a few logical deductions...

1. You don't know how to read.

2. You simply want to troll the thread.

3. You are being purposefully obtuse.

So which one is it?

Hey jawz, that is one sorry a$$ list of accomplishments, what has he done for the economy, you know like job creation, national defense, immigration, this so called president is working against the country, he hates how it was founded and wants us tax payers to feel the pain his people have felt.

Sounds like you're still drunk on the kool aid, most liberals have sobered up by now.

I don't call him the "Pretender in Chief" for nothing. He was in way over his head from the get go and with every new "crisis" it's become more and more apparent that he has no idea what he's doing, or maybe he does know what he's doing, and like you said, is working against the betterment of this country. Voters remorse is rampant, even amongst some of my most die hard liberal friends which means that people are waking up, and most importantly, the Independent voters, which is ultimately what wins elections. Obama's been useless since he took office and thankfully, he'll be even more useless after the November elections. :thumb:

There is no doubt Dems will likely lose their majority in the House. They will still control it in the Senate due to sheer numbers. I for one am happy that Republicans will control the House. It's never a good thing when one party holds both the White House and both the House and Senate.

His behavior is a reflection of what happens in Washington. More dedicated on trashing the other side of the aisle then actually working for the betterment of ALL Americans not just the few that share the same opinions. I would venture to say that both parties no longer have the concerns for the country as their greatest priority...too many special interest groups pulling the strings.

I'm not a liberal...I'm straight up GOP. You asked for accomplishments, all I did was link to them. and no matter how much you dislike the man, you can't diminish his accomplishments.

What's funny is that you are so rabid in your hatred, you wrongfully assumed that I was a liberal just because I answered JC's question lol.

Now if you were smart, you'd ask me how has Obama hurt our country.

You mad bro? When you post a thread asking a question you couldn't take the 10 seconds to research the answer of by your self only to have someone who did just that and then posted the results. Please... act like an adult. Asking someone if they work or if they are just a "moocher" is pretty low. Should I ask you if you are racist, redneck, white trash? No I wont... because I do not know you at all, and that would be disrespectful to you.

This is why political threads should have there own sub forum.

Same with me. I check more often but rarely find a post worthy of a click. Always political - my way of thinking is better than yours crap. I remember when we just had fun here. Then certain people got banned.. well you know the rest.
