Diablo 2

Post by PsykoPenguin »

I have found my CD's. Amongst a bunch of other old games I bought for the PC. Though for the life of me I can't find my CD key for this game. It's a lot like my Starcraft Broodwar CD key. I just can't find it anywhere. It's like gone.

It's like it up and left.

I don't suppose anyone who has retired from the game or whatever would give me their key for free.

Hmm.. I ponder where it couldve gone.

Edit: I remembered what I did with it. I took the sticker and put it on something else... I just don't remember what it was I put it on. Whatever it is I'm sure it's long gone now.

Edit 2: I remember now, I placed it on the Diablo 2 box it came in. That's long gone. fo sho. I would ask my cousin but apparently he lost his key a long time ago and hasn't uninstalled the game because of it.

I think I might have but hell if I remember what username and password I used. I had so many back in the day. I suppose I might give it a whirl with some old emails that I couldve used back then.

You should, because if you added it to you battle net account, not only can you download an installer, but you can also get a key.

I'm beginning to think that I DIDN'T sign up for it. I've gone through most of my e-mails from back then and not a single one seems to work. Guess I'm screwed then. Ah well, was hoping to play Diablo 2 again, well online at least. Doesn't seem like that's gonna happen anytime soon.

Actually, I didn't get Lords of Destruction, I only got the regular back when it was sold alone. didn't quite have the money to buy the battle chest at the time.

Poo. That might have allowed you to install it all.

I've run out of ideas. In the future, add all your blizzard games to battle.net so you can download installers and use the game key it provides. Its a really good service.

I was like 13 or 14 when I bought the game, I'm now 21 and know a lot more than I did then. So it's been lost for a looooooooooooong time.

I don't know, I liked both of em. I played Diablo 1 on some old IBM computer I had, think it had windows 95 on it.

Thanks for the luck but it's long gone.
