FSPs: What's next?
FSPs: What's next?
What's next on the horizon? I'm thinking about a new Vid card too. I was using an 8800 GTS for COD Modern Warfare and was happy with the way that it looked but I'd like to upgrade when the next game comes out. I know I should be looking for a DX11 card but what is currently the best bang for the buck?

I'm watching and waiting for the 485 Fermi release which should drop in a few months and will likely rattle any thing ATI has to offer. As for games, well Crysis 2 will be the best of the best coming out soon, Battlefield 1943 for PC is releasing this coming July and BF3 is on the horizon for a spring/early summer release next year. Otherwise there isn't much else worthy IMO fooling with.

Brink, by Splash Damage which runs on id's idtech 4 will be out in 2011 too. But Rage will definately be the big one showing off idtech 5 in all its glory.YeOldeStonecat wrote:Yeah...looking awesome! Good to see iD still belting out some games.
Since Bethesda owns id Software now we should see an improvement in their future titles as well.
