what settings are recommended for Cablenuts or TCP IP Optimizer?

I can include a Tracert if that would help.

I've tried those settings, and I'm not really noticing much difference on my browser. I don't know if its Firefox, or what. I have plenty of ram, and haven't done anything to host file. Nothing shows up on spyware or hijack this. So it's either embarq, or my computer. Maybe i should try a dns server other than the default? Or perhaps reset all the settings with winsock lp fix, then do the above settings again?
