WOW fps_max 100

WOW fps_max 100

I was gettin a solid 72 Fps, then I typed that in the console, Now I pull 90-100 fps! ITS SWEET!

Is there something like this for quake III?

doolj theres a file in the cs folder called config.cfg. You can edit this with word pad or note pad. Any way edit it and look for a line called fps_max, its about 3/4 the way down. Thats the setting that limits your frames you can set it to what ever you want

You mean its possible to pull more then 100fps in Halflife/CS ?

ive never tryed it but yeah prolly. Mine is set on 80 i think cause i only have a celeron 733 and a geforce2 mx so i cant get tremindous frames but its stable at 60 fps in 1152X768 res

I forgot the command to see the FPS :rolleyes: (in the lower right hand corner)...what is the console command for that?

no, the half-life engine has a MAX fps of 100. Even if you set it to a larger number, it'll revert to 100

Thats what i though :D Im gettin 100fps me happy!

By the way, you check fps by going in the console and typing net_graph 5
