It's a good time saver of a little app, downloads the latest version of <whatever you check>...and it automatically disables the "me-too" ad-ons you get with most things these days.
Makes things a heck of a lot easier when your building PCs, deploying PCs (especially multiples), or simply tuning up/updating PCs.

Check out my post right before yours......JawZ wrote:One reason why I don't want to try it is because most of the freeware apps out there, like the wonderful CCleaner, wants to install junk like the yahoo.com toolbar in your browser, etc. I don't know if this still gives you control to customize each app independently.
And right up on top of its website, one of the features "Ninite installs software fast with default settings andYeOldeStonecat wrote:.and it automatically disables the "me-too" ad-ons you get with most things these days. .
says "no" to browser toolbars and other junk. "

Thanks Man, that looks really good! I just bought a new computer for my wife, and that link is going to come in handy. Seems like a time saver.

They add other applications based on user suggestions.
If you want all of us to email the admins over there to get the Tcp Optimizer added, just give us all the word.
