9-year-old becomes Microsoft engineer

Post by akbarri »

Marko Calasan, a 9-year-old from Macedonia, is more than just a kid who's into computers.

At age 6, he got his first systems administrator credential from Microsoft and, last month, he became perhaps the youngest Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

I think this says more about MS certifications than it does about the precocity of the child.

Well done to the kid though. I suspect he's going to grow up and be very successful in business if he's started looking beyond traditional education already.

Seems like a lot of responsibility for a 9 year old, but I guess if it makes him happy.
