Create a website

Post by Riffer »

I want to make a website for my dad.. the problem is that I am too young ( 15 years old) for this website creating by my own. I heard about a lot of website builders like Site2you.com or whatever it doesnt matter. The question is - how to create a website quick and with a good quality?

No one has any right to force data on you
and command you to believe it or else.
If it is not true for you, it isn't true.

try some site places that will purchase your .com or whatever domain for you, give you webspace and all sorts of stuff.

Homestead is a good one that my mom uses.

Try your ISP. Some give you space on their site and help you build it.

site2you.com is expensive for a simple Website like you want to do.

Best way to start is:

1. Active the free Web space that's provided you ny your ISP. This space can be used to host files, multimedia or Web pages. The address, for example, as in COX customers, would be http://members.cox.net/username

2. Use a freeware what you see is what you get (wysiwyg) Web editor to make a few Web pages and upload them to your Web space.

3. Post the address to pages here and we'll guide you on improving them.

At your ISP Web site somewhere. Call them.

Welcome to Speedguide :)

http://viviti.com/
It says this on the site: "You can upgrade at any time, or continue using Viviti for free." I think bravenet owns this one... they have been in business for a while. I think viviti.com would be good for you just to create a simple web site. It does not involve writing HTML code which basic web sites are made from.

Although that web site uses pre-made templates, there is a great deal of web sites out on the internet that you can learn writing basic HTML from. One great one.. is Web Monkey: http://www.webmonkey.com/

And don't forget if you get stuck with any HTML questions.. try posting in the Speedguide programming forum:

Have a great Holiday. :)

From what I posted above.. this one just uses templates. -> http://viviti.com/
That should be easy for you.. probally one of the most easest ones out there.. and sure there are probably more out there as well other then this one company.

This one is another like the one above, that is free and is easy to edit. I've used this one before -> http://www.yola.com/

Happy New Year.
