Thanksgiving gift from Olivia

Post by David »

My 7 year old daughter decided to donate her hair to http://www.locksoflove.org/ today as a Thanksgiving gift. Her tail bone length tresses have been bobbed to shoulder length.

Kudos little girl, and to all else who have done the same.

Very sweet thing to do. She obviously has wonderful parents to find such love in her heart.

Very nice gift by your daughter, she's to be commended.

Now...in what year did you contribute your locks?
(I can get away with this question because I've a full head of hair still and no gray either)

Such a good cause. Our neighbor does that....retired millionaire...owned a large marina, and invented a type of jet-dry dock. Very cool guy. Grows his hair long..then one day you'll see it short.

Just wait until she's teenager and gets arrested for pulling some drunks teeth without anesthesia. :rotfl:

I tried to do so before the scalp went barren. Sadly, my hair was too kinky to cultivate.

This was all Olivia's doing... Credit her religious education, I suppose. It is her mitzvah.

Thank you all for indulging a peacock proud parent.

thats such a cool thing to do. did it myself a few years ago ( https://www.speedguide.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=176993 ).

its such a noble thing to do, and the effect it has on the kids chokes me up. i find it hard to even talk about without getting a lump in my throat.
