The Bucket List
Have you ever made a list of things you’d like to see or do before you kick the bucket (died)?
Mine
1 – Skydive. Jump right the hell out of a perfectly good plane.
2 – Empty the magazine on a fully automatic weapon.
3 – Ride a motorcycle over 200mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
4 – See my son graduate college.
5 – See my wife hit the lottery.
6 – Make someone smile or laugh once a day until the inevitable
moment comes.
Yes, this is a thread inspired by the movie The Bucket List. That movie has hit me on a deeper emotional level then any movie ever has.
Chambers (Freeman) explains to Cole (Nicolson) a fictional question while sitting on top a pyramid,
Egyptians believe that when one enters the after-life a person is asked two questions:
1 - Did you find joy in your life?
2 - Did you bring joy to others?
Just something worthy of contemplation or an answer if you want to.

Sliding down the banister of life ..........................
1. spend an entire winter where the temp is above 70 degrees.
2. I miss my old jeep from the seventies. Go 3 wheel drivin in mountains of Penna again.
3. captain a smaller craft around Carribean, island hopping for a month, sans pirates.
4. ensure children never have a financial worry again.

O thats easy
So softly , so perfect , seemingly sleepingly
But for you , sleep , forever will do
Wish only to fight the urge
Beaten senselessly for your basic need
Sunken eyes around me ,
sunken spirits is what I see
Children , old beyond their day
My Poetry
But for you , sleep , forever will do
Wish only to fight the urge
Beaten senselessly for your basic need
Sunken eyes around me ,
sunken spirits is what I see
Children , old beyond their day

1) spend my remaining time with my woman and my dogRoundEye wrote:Have you ever made a list of things you’d like to see or do before you kick the bucket (died)?
.
2)continue to have no regrets
3)to slow down and relax and take time to smell the flowers along the way,& not be in a hurry like the rest of the humans
4)get done with child support
5)move to a place that makes me happy to finish my years on this planet
6)since cancer runs in my family,I hope to live a while more.
I don't need to climb some silly mountain,or swim a large body of water,or save humanity,
I just want to enjoy what time I have left,
Life is really very short.
