Kanye West at the VMA's (2009)

As I understand it he just completely made an idiot of himself at the VMA's. Watching video of it on YouTube right now. Apparently he jumped onstage and interrupted Taylor Swift's speech to say she didn't deserve it over Beyonce?

Yeah, that's what my wife's telling me...she and my daughter are watching the awards in the other room and she said he pretty much just made a dick of himself (and I said, so whats new?)

Just watched the video. He's a complete douchebag. Taylor Swift handled it very well and the crowd supported her by cheering her on.

I remember a couple years ago he was playing at Bonaroo but kept everyone waiting until 3 in the morning or so.

Signs all over the place the next day..."Kanye sucks" and "**** Kaye"

Don't think I've ever heard his music though, hard to judge for myself.

His first album was great, unfortunately he protrayed himself as an anti-bling, intelligent and humble person; I won't listen to his music anymore. I couldn't believe my eyes when that happened. What a piece of ****!

His music is pretty good. I saw him in concert a couple of years ago and he waited forever to come on stage and then half way through his set he starts blabbing about relationships. The crowd booed him without remorse.

All that talent and he acts like a damn diva.

Aside from the fact that he acted like a douche, I don't even get what he was on about re: the Beyonce vid. That video is ok - it's just her and two other girls dancing against a white backdrop - that's all it is, for the whole song. That's "the best video of the decade"? That's what Kanye said when he yanked the mic away from Taylor. He doesn't even make any sense - it was an average video for an average club banger type of song.

He's so weird.
