Vid card susggestions

I'm still in school on a budget but was hoping to pick up new vid card soon for about 50-100. I"m running a x700 now which it's doign it's job but I know they have gotten better and cheaper.


any tips suggetstions it's only for some games comany of heros mainaly maybe the new call of duty if that helps.

No question, Radeon HD 4770 is in your price range.

thanks brent yeah i was thinking a 8500 seris geforce but hey figured I"ll ask that way I know it's something good

I just picked up a 4770 and could not be happier for the price/performance.

No Question?? I'm looking at the 4770's now and the specs are horrible compared to a Nvidia XFX 9800GTX+ which runs about 89$

90 bucks for a refurb'd one and even then the 9800 GTX+ is only a little better in Stalker and Crysis and pretty much the same in Far Cry 2.
