Well got my first computer back up and running Wednesday evening.
Right now heres what I'm doing,
4 SMP clients each with between 520 and 570 ppd average.
1 GPU client BFG 250 OC 1K ram doing around 5400 ppd average.
Have another BFG 250 ready to install, but waiting on a KVM switch to use to hook it up to so Windows 7 will recognize it.
The 4 SMP clients are only using 50% of my cpu (i7 3.05GHz). Tried adding a couple of more and it moved up to 75% but caused the computer to really bog down on doing things so I took them back off. Think I'll probably back it off another SMP client after I get things going again.

Rick, I would have thought 2 smp clients should take you close to 100% or do you have 2 cpu's? Did you remember to set the smp flag?

Hadn't set smp flag. But after going back and setting it it's still only using 50% of the cpu power with all 4 smp's running. And ppd go from 561.04 to 595.86.
Which might change with the flag set, I'll see.
Don't know about the i7, but with the smp flag set it says it finds 8 cores which would be right for 50% usage, but it sure starts to bog the computer down when I try and run 5 or 6 smp's.
