They should be able to reactivate your existing one, as long as it's in good shape.Debbie wrote:Pardon my ignorance, but, do they have to install such line or can they use the one I have.

Just downgraded my RV from one I owe money on to an older but in great shape one I don't owe money on.
Built website to pay most of my Campground fees for the season.
Shuttin off house phone today.
Pirated satalite signal
Run extra air in my tires
work 7 days a week instead of 6
Buy the most expensive gas available because we all know its better then the cheap stuff
Cheap no name stuff = 21 mpg expensive name brand stuff = 23 mpg
Cheap beer
visit neigbore alot at RV and drink his beer.
Help him with something on his RV and get free meal
The list goes on, but it does not change the fact I'm broke....hmmmmmm!!!

But....if you are cutting back in one way, you must be using that savings in another.Chris wrote:Just downgraded my RV from one I owe money on to an older but in great shape one I don't owe money on.

- So far, I brought my celly down from $99.99 a month to $39.99 a month.
- My landline is on vacation mode which changed it from $30.00 a month to $4.69 a month. I could still have my internet service.
- My DSL went from $21.99 a month to $14.99 a month.
I did the above today.
I have to cut as many corners as I can because I have to save for my son's wedding.

lol extra air in tires will only cause them to wear more in the middle and over inflated tires are dangerous
The price difference from the expensive grade gas to the low end is alot and I wouldnt' think would mean alot for only 2mpg that you may not see every tank (depends on routes and trips..air conditions, people you haul etc..)
I'll never drink cheap beer.. Bud Light FTW!
another way to cut back is to only buy clothes when you need it. Also if you have a cell phone (NO DATA PLAN!!)get rid of your land line. If you need long distance get VOIP like vonage (25 bucks a month for unlimited long distance). I also keep my house at 18C in the winter and only use a tank and a half every winter. Put automatic sensors on the rooms you use the most like the kitchen and bathrooms. That way if you forget to turn the light off, the motion sensor will turn the lights off for you after a few minutes. if you can use a laptop instead of a desktop. Laptops use alot less energy. you can get a decent one now for 300 bucks used! Pay everything in cash (saves on debit fees). If you drive long distances, get a 4 cylinder used honda civic. great on gas, parts are very cheep for the older ones and lots of info on the internet on how to fix them yourself.

The only expense I can cut right now is to stop eating. That said, I went from about 212 pounds to 164 when I got out the hospital. I think I have stabilized around 175 pounds. I could probably cut out the TV but my wife would stomp up and down on some vital little parts. They might not have seen much use lately but I have become quit attached to the little guys over the years.
