For some reason, when you ignore someone, their quoted posts aren't also ignored. Can't that be fixed?
I assume the user id is what's being blocked....so why doesn't it work in quoted posts?

I don't think there is an easy workaround for this.
Once a post is quoted, it becomes a part of a different post by a different user, it is stored that way in the database.
That is why if the original post is changed, the quoted post remains the same as well.

Not like it should be a big deal, the ignore feature isn't even that good, but a person should be able to ignore someone on their own if they want to.
Now someone not on UOD's ignore list quote me. lol

I don't think there is a way right now to do anything like this. There isn't a hack on the vbulletin.org site that I can find but I sent in a request to the vB team..perhaps they will come out with something on it for 3.9.0 release.

people can be grown up and skip over threads or posts and simply blow it off.
