New Shotgun!

Post by JC »

I'm in the market for another shotgun. I want a tactical one, semi auto. Does anyone have any recommendations? Preferably from first hand knowledge.

How much are you looking to spend?

Benilli & Saigas come to mind. The Saigas are cool because they are mag feed instead of tubular.

Nice. I'm not sure the going rate... but I think you'd be able to get a high quality gun for that kind of cash. Most people are buying up all the ar's and ak's they can right now because obama said he's for a new assault weapons ban.

I hate gun store web sites. None of them list prices (or the guns themselves...internet amateurs).

I have two weapons.

Remington 870 Express Magnum with a tactical mod and multiple barrels and chokes. I use a short smooth bore barrel for tactical/urban ops for mobility and I use a stock barrel for hunting. In less than a few minutes I can go from riot to the field. I use fiber optics sights.

My other weapon is a S&W Model 915.

I'd rather have 1 main weapon and pack out alternate barrels.

I have a Mossberg Persuader. For an inexpensive gun it has been pretty fun. I would say its pretty good gun, but I haven’t owned many other tactical shotguns.

mossberg mariner, it will set you back 350-450 and will do everything you want it to do. By far the most overlooked gun for the money.
