Please could any1 help?

Im not good with computers and someone seems to be trying to attack my computer, I am not sure what this means I have installed avast and norton but im still getting a notification about it, is there a way to trace who this attacker is or could be?

Never have 2 antivirus programs installed. Uninstall both then use the Norton removal tool and then install Antivir free and PCTools firewall along with Threatfire (it's also from PCTools).

Agree with the two AV comment.

Nevertheless, you should run a firewall. ZoneAlarm or PCTools both have a good free one. I don't usually recommend it to novice people because it asked questions about outbound connections that non-techies have a hard time answering. The paid for versions ask less questions. However in your case you have concern and you want to know about everything in or out so I'd recommend you install a strong firewall to start to understand whats going on.
