I'm using it on a test machine here at work now.. works great. From what I read its finished and there won't be any changes from the RC1 to the final release.

EDIT:
I'm sorry, this program is not supported on this operating system....Way to go MS, no good for vista, your latest OS....lol

I might give it a try tonight. From a couple of screen shots I saw on google it looks a lot like the office products menu bar with all the tabs.

Step in the right direction but the hill is still steep for IE to catch FF.

Sounds more like you have spyware, a virus, or just some system problem than anything to do just with IE7.

I've really never had a problem with IE7, though I prefer FireFox. IE8 has been pretty good in its beta form. Thx for the link.

Chris, did you get the right version for your OS because I didn't have them all linked in my first post.

Hi, my name’s Feran and I’m working with the Internet Explorer Outreach Team to provide assistance and help answer questions people might have about Internet Explorer.

For anyone who is interested in or thinking about trying IE8 RC1 here are a couple great links to check out that will provide you with some helpful information.

This site actually gives you the opportunity to test some of the new security and compatibility features in IE8: http://www.ie8demos.com/tryit/

The official site provides a good overview of all the new features, as well as answers for many frequently asked questions that users have. You can also download IE8 at this site if you think it’s something that might work for you: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/intern ... d=ie8_sm_a

Thanks,

Feran
