Ouccchhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Post by rickoic »

Well got my first electric bill since I started upgrading and oh boy was it a surprise. Almost $600.00.

Needless to say I shut off several of my computers and began rearranging my graphics cards, so I hate to say it but my PPD avg is going to plummet.

I've reboxed my EVGA 8800GTS cards and am going to put them on eBay, but I thought I'd give everyone here a chance to take them off my hands before I do that in a week or so.

They are recertified cards that I picked up from Newegg for $79.99 + S&H.

Will let them go for $50.00 each + $10.00 S&H. I'm pretty sure I could fit 2 or 3 in one of those Priority mailers for what I think is $12-13, I'd have to check the exact cost.

I have 9 of them so if you want them put a message here and send me a PM and we'll get the arrangements of and running.

Tks

Wow, that's sucks monkey balls, big ones!

I'm going to stick with my 3 GTS's. When I see a GTX 285 at a good price, I'll pick one up. I read some guy was getting ~1600PPD on one card which is more than all of my clients put together. :(

My bill on a really good month is $200 but probably averages $250.

Goobee, only ~1600 on a 285? I still have a couple of 260's running and they get from 5500-6500 PPD.

One is a MSI at 5500 and the other is a BFG OC'd from the factory and it gets 6500.

If you missed a 0 in there someplace that would be really great.

I feel your pain Rick. :( :(

I have to shut down my 5 PS3 most of the year, because high amount of heat they put out, and running the AC all the time. It is fine in the winter to heat my apartment.

I don't need any of your cards. I just purchased 2 9800 GX2 last week. I need a 1000 Watt PSU, which cost a lot of bucks also, to install my third 9800 GX2. It will have to wait till I get my SS Disability check next month on the 3rd.

On the small WUs it get over 5000 PPD for each GPU X2= over 10000 PPD. On the large 511 point WUs is over 3600 PPD for each GPU X2= over 72000 PPD. This is Win XP home OS, and 1 AMD Quad Phenom 9950 and 1 AMD Quad Phenom 9850.

Good luck to all folders. :thumb:

See you later alligator. Cajun Don.
