music related art/memorabilia

Post by ghettoside »

I was out bike riding and hangin out on the Northside all night, anyway met a close bud of my bud, and he makes these "things" which he then sells.

my new friend also has 2 rooms completely full of Beatles memorabilia, which was pretty impressive to me... then my bud tells me "wait til next time, he's gonna show you the basement".

so anyway I liked what he's working on, so I took some pics. Anyone seen this kind of stuff before?

Friend of mine found what I think was an old Jimi poster at a garage sale...turned out to be worth about $15000.

Especially if that stuff is original and as well cared for as it looks... :thumb:

I've some of it but not much. I would have loved to have had the full posters of everything Rick Griffin ever did.

I thought that 50 bucks for a Hendrix flying eyeball was insane. It's worth a ton of money now.
