Microsofts MSRT utility ramping up against Rogue AV products

Post by YeOldeStonecat »

Microsoft really beefed up their MSRT (Malicious Software Removal Tool) recently, to be able to clean up systems infected with the ever increasing infiltrations of Rogue antivirus products..such as XPAntivirus2009.

About once a month via Microsoft updates...you can download the latest MSRT.

If it's installed on your system, to manually run it...start==>run==>MRT
