I'm not.. this is a team that pulled a upset against Florida... it goes back to that theory that any team can be beatin no matter what rank you are or how good you think they are by a much lower less talented team. Its called fate and luck!

Well maybe 3rd most likely seeing as how the BCS runs... cause Texas beating OSU will put them 2nd and Florida beating OU will leave them 1st. But yeah I see your point, a undefeated team should be #1 and that would happen if they would do a playoff for sure.
Well don't get too impressed..they did play great tonight against Alabama..but your looking at a team that just came off a big loss to Florida and didn't really play anyone else this season besides TCU so meh... they shouldn't be no higher than #3 at the end.
I hope so.. he's done good with that program and its time for him to go higher not to mention i can't stand BC LOL
However, I think its pretty screwed up how BC told him they would fire him if he even did a interview unless it was in the contract that he wouldn't.
While Boston College football coach Jeff Jagodzinski proceeds toward a scheduled interview with the New York Jets, athletic director Gene DeFilippo made it clear Monday that doing so will bring an end to the coach's brief tenure in Chestnut Hill.
"Jeff is a very good man and an excellent football coach," DeFilippo said. "He did a wonderful job for us while he was here at BC. I wish Jeff would not take this interview and would remain as head coach at BC."
Jagodzinski is expected to interview with the Jets either Monday night or Tuesday. The Jets are looking for a head coach to succeed Eric Mangini, who was fired last week.
Sources confirmed that Jagodzinski met with DeFilippo and another representative of Boston College for approximately 90 minutes Saturday and it was then that Jagodzinski was told he'd be fired if he interviewed with the Jets.
Orange Bowl:Cincinnati vs. Virginia Tech
Surely you’ve got better things to do on New Year’s Day than watching this snoozer. Spend time with the family and start 2009 off right.
I read that article. Here is my viewpoint. It's complete speculation to suggest the Pac-10 isn't as good as they finished. However, it's a fact that the Pac-10 is the only conference to finish undefeated in bowl games.

I watched it..very good game vs other games that I've seen but I would have rather seen a better team than Cincy play which is what most would say to begin with. And since this game was played at night 8:30pm most of new years day was already gone anyway
But back to Jeff Jag and BC... it would only be in his best interest to split now since the true colors of BC and the administrators have come out. I wouldn't stick around knowing they play that kinda ball.

I agree about him being a good coach but right now he wants to just interview for that job..and telling him he will be fired if he does is bs..if I was him I'd do the interview anyway and if he gets the job..tell BC to shove it.

I understand their concern, but I agree I believe they are overreacting in today's day and age. Still I hate to see any good coach go from within the conferences I pull for. That's never a good thing.
