Another way to speed up the computer that most people forget about is getting SCSI internals. Like hard drive, cd-rom drive etc. You may not see the difference in nummber format like MHz, but you'll notice how much faster the computer works.

Just a thought.

ya but SCSI components are 3X more expensive compared to EIDE

Agreed, it's just a thought for those people who have a need to spend money constantly to speed up their computer. It is a good investment.

But for people like myself, I would prefer to get a 40GB 7200RPM IDE for the same price of.....lets say a 8GB SCSI.....

SCSI are alot more expensive but they make a huge difference! ;)
