I am on there 16mb/2mb plan. My equipment checks out fine and the wiring. Signals are great. Charter has come out and found nothing wrong. This major slow down starts between 5-10pm every single evening. Hell the tech that came out even said. "Yeah we have been getting a lot of complaints in Grants Pass, OR about major slow down between 5-10pm. He would not elaborate any further. Which makes me thinks he knows some thing and cannot comment on it. It is seriously worse then 56k. During the day it is fine and get full speeds. It sounds to me like a routing issue on there end or the area has been over sold. And it is not just me in Grants Pass, OR with this issue. It is other parts of Oregon as well. So, I ask the experts here and seek help. What could it be?

I'm glad I'm not the only one

I also live in Grants Pass, and have the exact same problem. I also run into the horrible slow down around 10pm to midnight... wish I had an answer for the problem, though.

It has been fixed now. Finally got hold of the right person and they basically got all of Grants Pass fixed up.
