Do they use the same engine and hardware? Do they offer the same performance?

Yes, the New Philips Acoustic Edge 5.1 Card has gotten rave reviews and even beats SB Live on some benchmarks. If I were to get a new soundcard, it would definitely be that one.Originally posted by iceman3233:
