Hi, I was wondering what someone could tell me what was going on from looking at this picture.

I don't know what squid is, I'm not using any proxies, and I swear the address 192.168.1.255 came out of nowhere.

Basically my network is myself to a wireless router (192.168.1.1) and myself (192.168.1.2). Another guy is connected downstairs, which I find under 192.168.1.3 on the Netgear router, but not on my computer, which I assume is normal.

Is this a healthy connection; I run antivirus and antispyware all the time, but recently I've been attacked. And my firewall complains about my router scanning me.

Please someone connect the dots for me I'm stupid.

Why don't you use the router firewall? Password protect the wireless so the person stealing your internet is locked out.
