I got a woodchuck/groundhog
How do get rid of it? I know where its entrance and lookout holes are.
Thanks
Thanks
Kinky is using a feather.
Perverted is using the whole chicken.

find the other end of the hole. clear any dry grass/brush away from both ends. pour a decent amount of gas in one end (decent being the size/length of the hole) . go to the other end and have somebody light the gas end. that little booger will come shooting out as if being shot out of a cannon. will be one of the funniest things you ever see especially if his ass is smoking and he is squealing.

The problem is you don't want a critter living under your shed? I caught a mole in my front yard last weekend while cutting the grass.... I just picked it up and put in my backyard. I guess I don't see this as a problem.chimdogger wrote:He is eating the neighbors garden. His den is under my shed in the back yard. Sold my .45 when I moved from FL to CT. The fire thing sounds dangerous and the floor of my shed is wood...

well there you go, just catch the groundhog with your hand. problem solved, except:
"They prefer to retreat to their burrows when threatened; if the burrow is invaded, the groundhog tenaciously defends itself with its two large incisors and front claws. Groundhogs are generally agonistic and territorial among their own species, and may skirmish to establish dominance."

Pest status
Moles are considered to be an agricultural pest in some countries, while in others, such as Germany, they are a protected species but may be killed if a permit is received. Problems cited as caused by moles include contamination of silage with soil particles making it unpalatable to livestock, the covering of pasture with fresh soil reducing its size and yield, damage to agricultural machinery by the exposure of stones, damage to young plants through disturbance of the soil, weed invasion of pasture through exposure of fresh tilled soil, and damage to drainage systems and watercourses. Other species such as weasels and voles may use mole tunnels to gain access to enclosed areas or plant roots.
Moles burrow in lawns, raising molehills, and killing the lawn, for which they are sometimes considered pests. They can undermine plant roots, indirectly causing damage or death. Contrary to popular belief, moles don't eat plant roots.
They are controlled with traps, smoke bombs, and poisons such as calcium carbide and strychnine.
Other common remedies for moles include cat litter and blood meal, to repel the mole, or flooding or smoking its burrow. There are also devices sold to trap the mole in its burrow, when one sees the "mole hill" moving and therefore knows where the animal is, and then stabbing it. Humane traps which capture the mole alive so that it may be transported elsewhere are also options.
