guys i need help to tweak my download speed ......coz when i test in speedtest i get this Image

but when i try download any file from rapidshare or filehippo my download speed stuck 20~30kb only but before this i get above 100kb... im getting this problem for three days pls help me

What kind of antivirus program are you using ?

Try the following with TCP Optimizer:

General Settings tab:
Custom settings - check
Modify All Network Adapters - check
network adapter selection - your NIC
MTU 1480
TTL - 64
TCP Receive Window - 63360
MTU Discovery - Yes
Black Hole Detect - No
Selective Acks - Yes
Max Duplicate ACKs - 2
TCP 1323 Options:
Windows Scaling - uncheck
Timestamps - uncheck

Advanced Settings tab:
Max Connections per Server - 10
Max Connections per 1.0 Server - 20
LocalPriority - 1
Host Priority - 1
DNSPriority - 1
NetbtPriority - 1
Lan Browsing speedup - optimized
QoS: NonBestEffortLimit - 0
ToS: DisableUserTOSSetting - 0
ToS: DefaultTOSValue - 80
MaxNegativeCacheTtl - 0
NetFailureCacheTime - 0
NegativeSOACache Time - 0
LAN Request Buffer Size - 32768
Then select "Apply Changes" and reboot to take effect

After reboot, post your new TCP Analyzer

Try downloading some files from websites in your country. If download speed is around 100 KB/s, then cause for slow download speed to certain websites (esp. if they are overseas) is not at your end, but somewhere along your signal route to those distant websites.

I guess something to do with the kind of file that you are trying to download.

Or issue with the particular server you are trying to download from.

guys i already try download in download.com ...rapidshare..even i try download from country also like that!!!...is that any other to tweak my modem ?

Check your speed at http://speedtest.net (Singapore & Several Servers nearby) and post.
