Battlefield 2 connection problems

Post by Mike__MRM »

I have just installed bf2 on my moms computer and i have another version on my computer two separate copies of bf2 mine works perfect and no problems at all but when i get on my moms computer and i log in fine but when i try to connect to a server it will download everything fine but when i get into the game all of a sudden it will freeze then go back to home and say disconnected lost connection with the server and it will show a like 175 ping when i try to connect. but i dont thing that is the problem because i can get on my other computer and get on that same server and sometimes have like a 200 ping so it isnt the ping i dont know what it is

Try updating Punkbuster? Using their utility called PBWeb.

Does it run single player on your moms computer? Maybe her computer doesn't have enough graphics capability or RAM....BF2 does like a beefy gaming computer.
