Saturday night and Sunday morning she was eating grass and puking. Normal for a dog so I didn't get too worried about it.
Seemed fine Sunday night and all of Monday.
Got home last night and she looked lethargic and was throwing up pure mucus, no bile or food. Then squirting it out, no stool or blood, just mucus. Decided to bring her to the vet the next morning (this morning).
Put her outside in one of the kennels.
Got up early this morning to check on her and saw the mucus had changed to blood...lots and lots of bright red blood dripping out of her.
Brought her to the vet ASAP and she left a trail of blood the whole way.
Stood with her at the exam table for an hour as it ran down her tail and legs. At first they said it was textbook parvo, 50% chance of recovery.
Parvo test came back negative so now they're culturing and testing and x-raying and doing ultrasounds
