Another blow for PC gaming: EA drops PC version of Madden '09

Post by YARDofSTUF »

After 12 years and 12 iterations, game industry titan Electronic Arts has eliminated the PC as a platform carrying the company's biggest franchise, Madden. It's a disappointing development for PC gamers.

You know, as much as I don't like the way pc gaming is going, I can understand this. The only EA sports game I enjoy playing on the PC is Tiger Woods. The other sports games I like, especially hockey and football, I much prefer to play with another person looking at a bigger screen. Much better gaming exp. I believe.

I really don't play those games solo or online at all so console makes sense for them to me at least.
