AMD Athlon Motherboard

Post by billyboysport »

When is the ABIT KT7A motherboard being distributed (266 MHz FBS) or any motherboard with a 266 MHz FBS? Are there any out there at this present time? I'm going to get a new computer, does anyone know a computer company that sells a good Athlon 1.2 GHz machine with DDR SDRAM with good graphics, sound, etc. for a good price?

i have a KT7A in teh PC i am using now supports 266ddr proc, so i asume it supports the ddr ram as well, its a very nice board. U are look for the s66fsb as in ddr right, cuz the board only hits 183fsb, just it does the 2 whatevers a cycle instead of one... wait for someone else to explain this lol.

See i have a duron 800 using the 200mhz fsb ddr but the fsb is really 100! God i hope i made sense lol.

So KT7A, and not the KT7 is the only motherboard that can support DDR SDRAM? Can the KT7 support DDR SDRAM?

I suppose you could check this site, for some ideas. I would hold off for a little while for mobo manufacture's to come out with a few more boards.
The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.
