Connection error with Call of Duty pc

I have 2 pcs... one an xp that is host for Linksys wireless-G router.. and the other one is a vista that is hooked up wirelessly... Me and my bro have had problems trying to play together in the same server on call of duty... everytime i try to get in the same server he gets in it starts having connection errors and boots him out of the server... I've checked in to the ruter a lil bit and it says something about accessing ports and all that stuff but i have no idea what to do.. Please HELP ME!!!... Thanks

Are you both using the same copy and cd key of the game?

yeah thats what it appears he's doing..... can't do that as PB is picking up the duplicate. Go buy another copy.
