It seems that for some of my clients, no matter how much work I put into their computer, and how hard I try to harden the security on the PC as to keep viruses and spyware out, they always seem to nuke the computers in no time @ all. I just got done fixing a clients PC, and two weeks later the PC is totally hosed again.....
I know this is the business I signed up for, but there are just some moments I find myself wondering just how its possible that they can keep doing this over and over again, and at times, treat me like I'm an idiot and dont know what I'm doing....
Anyone else out there going through this?

Did you do anything to beef up their protection?
A few years ago we moved all of our clients off of Symantec, McAfee..or whatever they had...to NOD32.
All new machines get Spybot...updated and immunized, and whenever I sit down at a clients PC to do "whatever"...I'll update and reimmunize it.
Clients I know who are late night "bad surfers"....will also get SpywareBlaster, and Firefox.
All PCs are kept current with Windows Updates

Before you fix the next time, view or save a copy of their browsing History. The use some of the addresses in a hosts file to point to localhost.
I agree, there are some stupid clients that make the same mistakes over and over, but most of my clients don't do that. I clean 'em up and teach 'em a few things too. And I put adequate protection and preventitives on their systems.
