Yes, in Office 2003 and previous, Frontpage. In Office 2007 however, they have dropped Frontpage for a new program SharePoint Designer - http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/share ... 31033.aspx

like you said, it is seperate from the suite, like Frontpage was, it is the program that replaces Frontpage cause Frontpage ended with the 2003 version

I don't use it all the time. An ex-coworker's email is getting sent to it so that's the only time I use it.

I've never used Sharepoint before, but it is suppose to do the same as Frontpage, plus more. It is based on Frontpage technology.

Actually, it looks like Expression Web may be best for ya, not used it either. It seems Sharepoint Designer is based used if using Sharepoint, so I'd probably check out Expression Web.
Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007: Automate your business processes and build efficient applications on top of the SharePoint platform, and tailor your SharePoint site to your needs in an IT-managed environment.

Microsoft Expression Web: Take advantage of the best of dynamic Web site design, enabling you to design, develop, and maintain exceptional standards-based Web sites.

The one pc in the house that has MS os, runs office 2007. It is on my fiancee's pc and she likes it. It was a jump from 2k pro version, so a little different for her to get used to.

It took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to navigate around when I first installed it. :crash:

FrontPage was replaced by 2x separate products..."Sharepoint Designer", and "Expression Web"

Sharepoint Designer is meant to be used in corporate environments...to design/manage "intranet sites" and "portals" that are hosted on Microsofts Sharepoint server. Sharepoint Server is a web hosting server that Microsoft sells...it's bundled with Small Business Server, and is also a separate purchase for a stand alone server.

Expression Web is designed for those who create web pages....it's more the replacement of Front Page that you're looking for.
