ok well i start up the game and it works fine but what im having a problem with is when i play online i will play and play but then all of a sudden my sound will go crazy and my screen goes to blue with errors on it. it has happend to me like 20 times already and im getting tired of it please help i need some suggestions.
i have nvidia on my video card and its a windows media center computer and when the game first came out it worked fine but i lost my code for the game so i can install it so i downloaded the battlefield 2 the full collection of the ea store and that one was the one that has been messing up
Have you run the latest update for the game? Even though you buy it from them, you still have to update the game. Happend to me with BF2142, when I downloaded the Northern Territory expansion.
-P.
im not sure it pops up and goes away to fast. well my friend just bot a new laptop and was playing the same thing and when his did it his blue screen said emtying temporary data or something like that
To see what the Blue screen errors say, right click on My Computer, Properties, Advanced Tab, Startup and Recovery settings button, then uncheck Automatically Restart's box and click ok. Next time it should stay up till you do a hard restart of the PC. Write the error down and post it back here for review.
ok well i did that but what happens now is it just stays on the screen and tells me that i need to restart my computer and if it happens againg that you need to follow some steps

well write down what the error says...any numbers letters anything of a line that shows what the error might be?
You could also use this..it will work on non-dell systems to show what is causing the crash..its a 50/50 shot at picking up errors that cause the crashes.
you only need to run that program and it will check the computer over for reasons for crashes..it may or may not pick up anything just depends. Check your program's under the Start menu for Dell Crash tool
ok i ran it and so im going to look it up in google and see what i can do with it it shows this "NavEx15.Sys" now i was playing earlyer and it crashed and it shoed this file "nv4_disp.dll" which is from nvidia so i was looking at that to

If the first one is a game then the game is causing the crash so you need to remove it and perhaps reinstall it and try again. As for the driver crash well you need to make sure you completely remove them and reinstall another set or the same set just redownload em first.
Download it from there and install it, next make sure you've downloaded another driver or the same one over again and have it ready somewhere to find. Next run Driver Cleaner pro to remove "Nvidia" only in the pull down menu. Next you need to boot to safemode using the F8 button when your restarting the computer, once into safe mode run driver cleaner pro again to remove the last few files left that it won't remove while running in windows normal mode. Reboot and install the drivers you downloaded and another reboot to finish the install.
ok well there was a problem i have to monitors and when i did that cleanup it took off the nvidia drivers off that one video card and when i installed the nvidia drivers it installed it onto the other monitor and so now my computer doesnt even recognize the other monitor and i need that monitor to watch tv or play some of my games

Sounds like you got too much going on and too much your trying to do which is causing the errors etc.... time to pick your battles.
ok well i took out my second video card and right now i have my computer opend and im working on a single monitor and its working fine so im going to try to hook back up the second video card and try it again and see if it works
well i put the second monitor back on and nothing worked finally we got it to where one monitor will work the one where i can play the game so ill see if it will crash now
Well doesn't seem to me you can have the best of both worlds...time to "Pick your battles" as I said before and choose between which you want more..to play BF2 or to run double monitors with two cards cause it doesn't seem the hardware/software is compatible with each other to run at the same time...perhaps its with CPU utilization or something else.
ya maybe well it has been working fine so far so i wont worry about it and just deal with it untill i can afford another computer but then i have another question i just got my laptop running and so i installed battlefield on there and did everything but now it like starts to start up and then cuts off like if the computer was blocking it or something would you happen to know enything about that

up to you.. as for the laptop install I'm willing to bet it has crappy onboard video, you need to research the games requirements before loading it on a machine.
