Vista won't stay connected to secured wireless

Need help here. I have tried everything. The new laptop with Vista takes forever to connect to the Linksys router and then when it does it is intermittent and the connection drop lots. I have the WEP 128 encryption and the router broadcasts the signal. I read lots of stuff that Vista has problems connecting to secured wireless. Any ideas?

Try changing the wireless channel on the router.
