Free internet lock?

Post by Pains2 »

Hi All,

Is there a free internet block out there?

i want to stop the kids from accessing the internet when i'm not around. So the question is... is there a free internet blocker for IE? something that when the IE is clicked a password box comes up and if they don't know the password, they can't get on the net.

Cheers and thanks,

I don't think there is any software like that available, but depending on how young your kids are, have you thought about just downloading a free fireware such as Sygate, and just turning it to block all access?

Hope I helped.

Google up CyberPatrol, NetNanny, or WebWatcher....I remember installing one of those not long ago...one of them required a password for internet access when on strict settings.
